Today, August 14th 2015, marked the ribbon-cutting of Hill Country Conservancy’s Violet Crown Trail.
Save Barton Creek Association is proud to be a major sponsor of the regional trail system, which will begin at Zilker park and span 30 miles south into Hays County.
Hill Country Conservancy announced today that they will be participating in REI’s #everytrailconnects campaign to raise money for the completion of the trail. Visit. www.votevct.com to vote for the Violet Crown Trail. For each vote received, REI will invest $5 to the VCT. REI will be giving over $500,000 to trails nationwide but will give the money based on votes from our community and supporters. You can vote every day until September 26th.
